CHANGING MY NEGATIVE BEHAVIORS

>My purpose is:
STOP PROCASTINATING, it means close the gap between my task in process and my finished task.

>My goals:
-         -  Lead time for homework = 2 days
-         -  Do exercise
-         -  Read one book and one paper per week

>How could I achieve these goals?
-          - Make an schedule and follow it
-          - Take at least 2 hours per day for reading
-          - Increase amount of healthy activities in my weekends
-         -  Read headlines from at least 2 American’s newspapers every day.
-          - Identify which activities make me wasting time, and do something with them.

EXPERIENCES ABOUT TEAM-WORK

I think there are two important elements in team work, leadership and team cohesion. These elements are key factors in the performance of a team, because they envelop themselves human being’s nature. The human being often responds to instinctive feelings, It becomes us into a combination between mammals and citizens. It means that our thoughts are an amalgam among experiences, knowledge and feelings, which have the same background: a constant fight between “homo hominis lupus” - this Plautus’s Latin phrase means that man is inherently selfish - and cooperative principles.

In educational scenarios like this assignment, leadership and obedience to authority are understood in a different way than in job scenarios, because we have the same goal, and we are taking the same challenge, learning a second language. This learning context allowed us to share our experiences and ideas without the pressure of “be the best”. I have been worked with different kind of people and situation, but always I had the pressure for being the best. However, I really enjoy working with me team, especially for the culture combination and invaluable learning that I had.
Otherwise, working in our presentation re-enforced my ideas about obedience, because I think there are many ways to understand the concept of obedience in real life. Therefor we usually cannot figure out “when we are being obedient” and “who is the authority figure?”

COOL HAND LUKE

What is being a hero?  People usually relate being a hero with getting supernatural powers. I try to remember my childhood heroes and found that wasn’t superman or batman, I love the Indiana Jones’s adventures and enjoy watching new places and learning about ancient cultures. I think being a hero is more than having special skill and fighting crime. A hero for me is a person who gives hope to other people. I think Luke represented a hopeful figure for prisoners, he encouraged prisoners’ hopelessness hearts.

The song!

Cambalache -  Carlos Gardel

en el quinientos seis y en el dos mil también;
ignorante, sabio, chorro, generoso, estafador.

Translation:

That the world was and will be a mess, I know it, in the five hundred and six and in the two thousand too; That It always  been thief, traitors and scammed, happy and embittered, values and fake gold. The idea that the twenty century is a display of insolent wickedness, nobody can deny it. […] Today, all things are the same, nothing is better, is the same a donkey that a great teacher! […]  A lack of respect, an outrage against the reason!  Anybody be a lord, anybody be a thief! […] the twenty century is mess, problematic and febrile. If you don´t cry, you wouldn`t eat; If you don’t thieve, you will be called fool. Don’t think it more, step aside; nobody cares if you are honest since you born. Who works all the day like an ox is the same than who kills other person or be out of law.

We feel good. We
learn faster.

We wait hidden. We
dirty souls

We taste sin. We
full throats.

We shake hips. We
smell death.

What’s the meaning of the obedience?

Usually, the rules are design to prevent inadequate performance into the society structure. It means that we give up our natural feeling and our view’s world and receives some right, such as, the human right or the third generation right. Since the beginnings of the humanity, always exist disputes for the power and legitimized one person’s authority.
In last decades, we have seen the same disputes, but in different form, especially for knowledge and some natural resources. Personally, I prefer understand all about obedience and authority like a trade off, between recognition and sacrifice. So, what do you prefer, make the rules o follow the rules?.
